JOB OPPORTUNITIES
September 1, 2001
Conway Conservation has no full-time paid positions open now and we do not anticipate having any in 2001.
We may have a need for entry-level part-time on-call personnel later in the fall. The most likely specialties to be of interest are document production, Microsoft Access, wildlife ecology, and botany. We will also occasionally be looking for construction and landscape assistants to help with manual labor on Mockernut Hill Botanical Garden.
We do have openings for several volunteer interns for the spring semester. These positions will expose participants to an unpredictable variety of office, computer, and field experiences associated with conservation, botanical garden management, trail/greenway development, and environmental consulting. It may be possible to use this training for academic credit with the University of Florida or other universities.
