Coordinating local, county, state, and NGO efforts to acquire 1,031 acres of hardwoods, scrub, flatwoods, and sinkholes and manage it with adjacent lands as a public-private environmental park with an extensive trail system linked to regional greenways. Project includes horse and hiking trails, historic road interpretation, and red oak woods restoration.

The Old Bellamy Road Project - Florida Department of Natural Resources. Project Manager responsible for team coordination, ecological studies, and recreational and educational aspects of restoration of historic road and surrounding landscape. Project included planning for multi-use recreational trail and interpretation facilities in River Rise State Preserve. It also involved hands-on historic landscape restoration including original research into the composition and character of red oak woods, invasive vegetation removal, seed collection, volunteer recruitment, and planting and maintenance of over 200 species.

Horse Trail Evaluation for Myakkahatchee Creek Environmental Park - Coastal Dunes, Inc. for Sarasota County Parks and Recreation Department. Project Manager.
