One of Adams County's most recent success stories is the Aeroframe Corporation. The company started out three years ago, manufacturing ground support equipment for GE Aircraft Engines, whose engine test facilities are also located within the county. While this remains an important component of Aeroframe's business, the company has branched out into Aeroframe Technologies, a sub-assembly operation for automotive components. The company currently employs over 70 and plans expansion to 200 in 1996. According to Melinda Culbertson, MACA Plastics President, she has no doubt the local labor supply will meet its requirements. "Adams County has a huge pool of available workers and we've been very happy with the work ethic," she says. "We don't have problems with turnover or people calling in sick all the time. They're here to do the work and they do it well.
