Fasten Your Seat Belts!

Reading a book on-line may be a new experience for you. Publishing such a book has most certainly been a learning process for us.

While we've been in the publishing business for more than 50 years and have run a web site for more than 20, this is our first attempt at publishing a book to be read on line. We thought it would be easy but it wasn't. There have been numerous software problems causing very irritating delays.

Although we think we have fixed most of the problems, you may still encounter some frustrations — some resulting from our mistakes, and some due to the inherent difference in reading extended text on line. For example, you may need to pause at the beginning of each chapter to give it time to load.

Also, you may find that some links don't respond quickly or you may have a delay in getting back to where you were. We're working on both problems.

Of course, if you get too discouraged you can load up your printer with paper and run off a hard copy. We have no objection so long as you don't sell it.

No matter how you approach it, we hope you'll plow onward through the entire book and then give us your feedback. Comment on anything of interest. Attach links or photos if you wish.

This could be the start of a worthwhile exchange! Click here to start.
