Walter J. Stuecklin

Mr. Stuecklin has over 29 years of worldwide experience in the development of industrial, commerical and residential real estate. He has also held executive positions at various international companies managing their corporate real estate and has been responsible for large development projects in Europe, USA and Canada.

As Senior Vice President at ABB Asea Brown Boveri Ltd, Zurich (an electro-technical enterprise with a turnover of USD 32 billion and over 219,000 employees), Mr. Stuecklin leads a small team based at company headquarters co-ordinating the corporate real estate activities in 78 countries together with the regional ABB corporate real estate managers. The portfolio consists of 47 million m2 of land and 12 million m2 of building space with a book value of over USD 2 billion and a yearly occupancy cost in excess of USD 1.0 billion.

The main responsibilities of the ABB corporate real estate management include the development of efficient and flexible facilities for the industrial activities of over 1000 individual ABB companies in order to support them to continually increase ABB's global competitiveness.
