Description and Comments

Development of the newest commercial and business center of Madrid, Castellana Norte, is the work of noted architect Ricardo Bofill. The expansion is along the Paseo de la Castellana thoroughfare, which, according to Madrid Mayor Alvarez del Manzano, "will be a major focus of our development activities over the next few years, while we continue to rehabilitate Madrid's historical city center." The develop-ment will include improvement in the transportation network as well as new commercial and business facilities.
